I am only just getting around to installing 10.2 on my iBook 700

Just a little confused with the myriad of discs that I have!

I want to reformat the HD (done) and have all the original software running with 10.2 including Classic.

The discs i have:

iBook software restore (4 discs)
iBook Applications
iBook Mac OS9 install
iBook Mac OSX install (10.1)

Mac OSX 10.2 (2 discs)

Can someonre remind me which discs to use...anbd in any particular order?

Thanks
Piot

Pop in the 10.2 CD 1 and hold the "C" down on boot...follow the on screen promts... Once in the install you'll notice it is very easy...

At a later time when 10.2 is installed you can use a third party utility ( like Onyx to show hidden files ) to get some of those applications you may want off the Restore CD's

good luck

Software Restore will make your iBook the way it was when you took it out of the box and turned it on the first time.

Applications just includes various apps that came with your iBook (most are probably outdated by now).

OS9 and OSX discs are self-explanatory.

10.2 discs will give you a standard Jaguar install.

Depending on what you want to do, you may want a restore followed by a 10.2 upgrade, or just do a straight 10.2 install as kiazer suggested.
