I'd like to write an applescript that will e-mail me when a file is added to a folder (using folder action scripts). I'd appreciate suggestions for:

1) moving the file that is added to the folder
2) e-mailing me
3) putting the file's name in the e-mail

thank you for any help

There are quite a few scripts here that you might be able to modify for your use:

I was simply having problems because it is required that the script being used be stored in /Library/Scripts/Folder Action Scripts/
