Bluetooth 1.4.1 for Mac OS X provides enhanced stability for Bluetooth connections. This release also improves performance with human interface devices (HID) including enhancements to wake from sleep.
2.2MB....

It's made my P800 connection much quicker and more reliable.
Great :-)

I'm still having problems with this attempting two syncs in a row sometimes. However now all I have to do to fix it is to turn bluetooth off on the mac and back on. I can confirm the speed improvement though, looks like they removed the debug code
It does seem to find my BT mouse faster as well. All in all a definite improvement but not quite perfect.

Yes and if you look on the Apple Discussion boards (search Bluetooth 1.4.1), you'll also find 25 posts in 2 days pointing out that it pooches the connection between Apple and M$ BT mice with endless Connection Lost messages flashing up. In my case a D-Link DBT120 dongle with revision B3 and firmware update 1.02 has been rendered completely non-functional by update 1.4.1 running on Panther 103.1. Sometimes the Mac does not even know it has BT installed and if it does, it cannot find any BT devices let alone pair with them.
Apple has really dropped the ball with this and shows poor QC again.

The Apple BT mouse connects must faster since the 1.4.1 update. Now it's almost instant when the mouse is turned on. Prior to this update it could be a little sluggish.
