OK, installed panther today and while installing some software my 'a' key stopped working. It would allow me to use 'apple' 'a' to select all, but won't type an a anywhere in text.

Not being able to fix it, I assumed something I installed had a problem with panther, so I reinstalled from scratch. Everything went well, and it's been good all afternoon. Then I went to type an email this evening and the 'a' key is f@cked again.

I've tried restarting and can't figure it out. Anyone seen anything like this. It must have something to do with software but without reinstalling again I can't think how best to proceed from here.

Help, please.

Cheers,

J.

Man, you rock.

Thanks, I tried searching but couldn't find it. Hard to search without the key.

That's one of the fastest fixes I've seen.

Many thanks,

J.
