System Administrator

CACI Technologies, Inc. is looking for Systems Administrator to perform or oversee the following duties: design, engineer, install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and systems. Will be the prime advisor to management on all technical matters, and make recommendations and reports when required.


Five years network administration experience with demonstrable proficiencies on Windows N/T, 2000, XP, Macintosh and UNIX/Solaris server operating systems. Proven network design and maintenance a must. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent course work and seven to nine years experience. Demonstrated project and personnel oversight ability.


Experience with oracle databases, render farms, streaming video server platforms and applications a plus. Experience in the post-production video environment a plus.


Must be a U.S. citizen. Government clearances at the TS/SCI level are preferred. Work location is Reston/Chantilly, Virginia.

Aren't there job hunting websites for stuff like this? This isn't really a forum for SPAM, but since it was moved from the lounge I'll assume this wasn't considered SPAM by the higher powers.

Maybe we need a jobs forum then ? I think it's a good sign that Mac related jobs are posted here - they are few and far between, and quite difficult to locate.

How can you have 5 years experience of XP? Was I just not paying attention when they released it in 1998?
