After updating with the latest security patch on my PowerMac and my bro's iMac, the autofill in Safari doesn't work any more. I have to type the log-in name and password by hand to the sites I go to.

Before the 11-19-03 Security update, when I go to pages that require me to sign in, my login name and password gets filled in automatically when the web page finishes loading and all I have to do is click the sign-in button.

Now I have to manually enter the login name and password for sites that require me to log in everytime I go to their site.

I checked the Safari Prefs>AutoFill>User Names & passwords, and my info is still retained.

The auto-fill for the urls still works though.

I repaired permissions after the update too.

Strange, For sites that let's you stay logged until you log out,(like MacNN Forums), when I log out and and go back to the sign in page, Autofill fills in my info.

But for sites that require you to login each time you visit the site, Autofill will not fill in the info. Like the get.calstatela.edu site (the site of my university.)

I guess it's for security purposes.

Sites that remembers that you logged in the next time your return to their site like (MacNN Forums or InsideMacGames Forums,) when you log out and the next time you log in, AutoFill kicks in.

But for Sites like Banks and and my University's Student account site, autofill doesn't kick in for security reasons I suppose.

My bad. . . for jumping to conclusions!
