i left my iChat running at work and when i got home and logged in, normally i'd disconnect my self at work and establish a connection to my account at home -- no more....

This evening i got a chat window from 'AOLSYSTEMMESG" which read:

Your screen name (Screenname) is now signed into AOL(R) Instant Messenger (TM) in 2 locations. Click here for more information

When i clicked the "here" i went to this link:

http://www.aim.com/password/routing.adp

It seems we now can be connected with our AIM account in two places at the same time and receive those messages in two places (as long as we are not "away")

I'm not sure if i like that -- i dont want to receive messages that i get at home and respond to piling up at work during the night....

Am i wrong to expect that with this line:

"Your messages will generally be delivered to all locations not set as Away (or locations that have gone Idle)."

it's not very clear.....
"....and the capital of Nebraska is Lincoln!"

Well, if you want to leave iChat on at work (ie, you didn't leave it on accidentally), just set an away message there. Otherwise, it'll go idle after a bit, and you'll stop receiving messages there.

I wish it'd be an option, though.
