Well, the title says it all. Is is possible to remove the scrollbar of a terminal window in 10.3? In 10.2, you could do this by disabling the buffer..but now the scrollbar remains.

"And Zapp Brannigan, your score qualifies you as assistant delivery boy, second class."
"Hmm. I guess I'll have to sleep my way to the top. Kif, wake me when I'm there."

I don't know an answer, but you coudl use Apple's X11 and an xterm. You can turn the scrollbar on and off with a command-line parameter on that one.

Code:
-sb This option indicates that some number of lines that are
scrolled off the top of the window should be saved and that a
scrollbar should be displayed so that those lines can be
viewed. This option may be turned on and off from the ``VT
Options'' menu.
+sb This option indicates that a scrollbar should not be displayed.

Why no scroll bar? Well, I use a black terminal and a somewhat darkish background picture; the scroll bar and title bar really stand out. I thought it would look really cool (and also less distracting) to have a terminal window without borders. Taking off the scroll bar seemed like it should be possible; removing the title bar seems less likely (and also introduces the problem of how to move the window around).
I suppose I could use an xterm; I hadn't thought of that.
Side xterm note: besides the command line flags, you can also do a control-middle click in the window to turn on/off the scroll bar at any time.

i have 2 terminals open all the time. One is running screen, with 2 screens open(one for normal shell commands and such, and the other for naim, a text based AIM client). My other terminal window is running an ssh that basically has email and a chat client. I use screen, so I can scroll up in the buffet with that. The scrollbars are a waste of space for me, besides being quite annoying.

nobody knows how to do this? I could really go for a terminal with no sidebar or titlebar, but punting the scrollbar is enough to make me happy.
