Panther 3.1

Is it possible to burn a bootable DVD which contains Disk Utility and a Restore image?

It would be convenient to have a bootable DVD which contains the newest OSX and applications such as MS Office. I've done this with a firewire disk and would like to have it on a DVD.

This is quite dificult as OSX neads to wright to the disk it boots up from during startup and while in use.
there is the app BootCD which will create a bootable CD image. But I dont know weather it will do a DVD or if it has been updated for Panther?
You also can't use it to create a disk wiht any Norton tools on as these modify the OS and Boot CD doesn't copy the Modification accross to the CD image
