Has anyone succeeded in getting Rotor (Microsoft's port of the .Net framework to FreeBSD) to compile on Panther?

It has been compiled on Mac OS X but it spits run time errors and causes kernel panics so the port was never released by the maintainer.

Aren't you thinking of mono? Rotor has no maintainer AFAIK, as it is Microsoft's thing. I downloaded it once but didn't manage to get it to compile on my old machine.

No I am talking about Rotor. I met him on an irc channel a while ago. He abandoned the project.
