A few days after I installed panther my machine crashed. I figured it was a toothing problem until it did it again...
and again...
and again .. almost every time before the machine could get 4 days of uptime too!
One day a friend of mine told me to try quitting the finder (can be done with tinkertool or whatnot), I quit it... and so far the machine's gotten nearly 5 days
:shrug: I figure you've heard it before but it works well..
Now my question is WHY? What's causing finder to lock up the machine so routinely?
