Hi,
I have a recently purchased eMac 1Ghz with an Epson Stylus Photo 820 USB.
I was printing fine until a few days ago. I don't know what changed.
Now, whenever I try to print from any application the output is scaled down and printed in the bottom left corner of the page. Which is also the way it looks on the Print Preview.
I tried deleting and re-adding the printer and reinstalling the print drivers from the Epson CD. I also tried using different paper settings. To no avail.
Note, when I try to print from iPhoto, the initial Print Dialogue graphic seems to be scaled correctly on the page, but when I print it or preview it is scaled down and put in bottom left corner of the page.
Thanks for any help troubleshooting this.
Bob Y.

I found the fix for the small print area on Apple's discussion boards.
Here's the link to the answer:
http://discussions.info.apple.com/We...1F.8@.599ca051

Here's the text solution:
This has worked for some users having problems that, while not identical to your problem may well have the same solution. Move the following file:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs.plist

out of that directory. You can navigate to this file in the Finder by choosing Command-Shift-G in the Finder and type in:

~/Library/Preferences/

Then find the file:
com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs.plist

Rename it to:
old.com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs.plist

Quit the application(s) you are having trouble with and then start them again and see if the default document size is correct.

I didn't move the file. I just added "old." to the beginning of the name and everything seems to print ok now.
It's NEVER easy!
