can not load Keyboard & Mouse

Could not load Keyboard & Mouse

been trying all-night to access the Keyboard & Mouse preference pane
and every time mac osx 10.3.1 responds with "Could not load Keyboard & Mouse" deleted the cache files and any preferences i could find but still no luck anyone had a similar problem and found a solution ?

You could try zapping the pram (apple-option-p-r) and repairing permissions, just a thought.........
