I have the most annoying problem with the menubar clock. If I choose digital in the menubar, the clock sets itself to GMT (I'm in EDT). Menubar analog will set itself correctly. The wierd thing is that if I choose floating clock in either digital or analog, the time is correct! What's going on?! I've tried deleting prefs, turning off network time, messing with Int'l prefs, etc, but the stupid digital menubar clock won't cooperate. Please help!

Thanks.

I guess I should mention that I'm using 10.3.1 (7C107) on a G4/500 AGP.

Before you criticize someone, first walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

sounds like corrupt preferences or something.

Try moving your date & time prefs from whereever they are to somewhere else and seeing if the problem doesn't just go away.

(hey in these days of infrequent restarts, a restart might do it too)

Thanks for the reply, but I've already tried deleting the com.apple.menubarclock.plist file and it didn't help. Restarts don't help, either. It's like the digital clock _wants_ to be 5hours fast, but the analog does what it's told.

Anyone else have this problem?
