No matter who sends me an html email, when I try to click a link in the mail it doesn't do anything. Am I missing a preference or something?

Try resetting the default web browser in your system prefs. If this is pointing to a removed program you'll get the behaviour you are seeing.

If you haven't tried this, in Mail select your message header, then View>Message>Plain Text Alternative. You should be able to click the links in the body text.

I had the same problem(s) before Panther, but 10.3 has seemed to correct these issues. Good luck.
