i'm trying to find some sites where you can dl free fonts for your mac, some nice ones, does anyone know some? please list em...

also looking for hi tech clean looking fonts...

if you guys know, please post up links, thanks!

There are lots of free fonts out there... and the majority are worth what you pay for them. Exceptions are Silkscreen and 04b, some very useful pixel fonts. I will have to say I've downloaded some delightful novelty fonts. Finding a use for them is harder than finding the font. You did not say anything about the application, but I can assure you that if you need a basic repertory of quality publishing fonts you're going to have to pull out the plastic.

Also, it should be noted that Mac OS X handles Windows TrueType files just as well as mac ones, so you don't necessarily have to look for sites that are geared towards Mac or cross-platform collections.

I'm not sure about Windows Postscript Type 1 fonts though. I'm sure someone here knows the answer to that.
