In Mac OS X client, when I log into my home computer remotely which I do often, My username shows up as a mount point as well as my other partitions/HD's on my computer.

Now I am testing out Panther Server before it's isntalled on a live web webserver, but I can't figure out how to make it so when a user logs in only their user name shows up as a Volume they have access to and then mounts their home folder.

WHy does client to this but not server (which a simple option) I know you can setup shares etc, but I don't want the Users folder to show up as a share and then people being able to see in other peoples folders who who else is on the server if the other users have no read.

But they need to have read so people can access the folder for their ..com website and streaming media.

So how do I make it that their name only shows up for just them as a volume when they log in via AFP?

I also will be setting up group folders that some people will also need to access (so that folder will also need to show up as a volume they have access to).

Thanks
