My DV Camera (Canon ZR40) isn't connecting to my 800mhz G3 iBook. It started after I installed Panther (which would make it the obvious culprit). I also just downloaded the newest version of ichatusbcam 1.1 that's supposed to work under Panther. However when I plug in the camera the icon comes up in iChat then disappears. Sometimes when I plug it in Panther reads it but iChat says the camera's in use by another app. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do to make my camera work??

Are you using battery to power your DV when connecting to the Mac or using power supply?

Some models seem to need power supply for that to work.

It's using A/C Power.
