How can I see which ports can be connected to on my mac and which ones are blocked by my airport? And is there an easy way to allow access to certain ports? Thanks

Is your basestation acting as a gateway? If so, you are not directly accessible via the internet.

Otherwise, have a look on versiontracker for NMap-FE (or just NMap), install it and run it. It should tell you which ports are openned. Than you'll have to play with BrickHouse or an other firewall to close what you want to close.
