Right, I'm quite new to the Mac OS in general, I'm on a G5 with Panther at present, I've the software updates and about one program that didn't come with the machine installed . Anyway, being a previous Windows user I jumped onto ATI expecting that I'd need to update the driver etc. and so I got the ATI tools for the Radeon 9800Pro Mac Edition, although I've only an OEM card (so in the end this wasn't needed for me at all, I found this out after reading the html file it came with, heh I've learnt to read more now ) anyway... it's not an actual driver just some tools and I'm wondering how I should go about uninstalling it? There doesn't seem to be any add or remove programs like in Windows, nor any uninstall feature in the ATI Utilities folder, only the ability to place it in the Trash, will this be fine and actually reverse what it has done or is a format needed? Thanks!

Many Mac programs just consist of just the file/folder itself and a preference or two. I suggest checking /Library/Application Support/ and ~/Library/Application Support/ directories and see if anything's in there. Also, sometimes I'll search the hard drive for files matching the application's creation date and see if there's a result. If you're not sure about a file, especially if it's a system file, then it's best to leave it alone.
