Well I got it running. I used xPostFacto 2.5.5 and a 220mhz G3 Daughter card and had very few problems, even though it is not supported by Apple (obviously) or xPostFacto.
I think the daughter card upgrade is part of the reason this worked most G3 upgrades for this box are L3 slot cards.
The internet would not work with two AsanteFAST cards installed, had to pull one for some reason although the router assigned an IP and the box was visible on the LAN.
Anyway it was fun and everything seems to be working (slowly).
