*sigh* It's been an irritating afternoon. Here's where I'm at. I had some mail on my PC in Outlook Express. I managed to get that mail onto an Exchange folder at work, which I then downloaded to my PowerBook by setting up an IMAP account to that exchange server. I then copied over the mail to a newly created mailbox and removed the imap account from Mail. Problem solved? Well, not really. I now have a nice mailbox sitting in my mailboxes drawer with all of the mail in it. Great. But when I try to drag that mail into the "In" mailbox of my account, I get an error saying "Error. The destination mailbox does not exist." But it does! It's my inbox! I don't get it. Can anyone assist? Cheers.

do you have more than one in box? If so, open the disclosure triangle and drag into a specific in-box

To my knwoeldge I only have the defualt "In" inbox. I somehow got it to work by doing an all select then choosing copy from the edit menu then paste from the edit menu into the inbox. But I'm disturbed that it didn't work when I tried to drag and drop. I don't know what "disclosure triangle" is?

I had this problem when upgrading to Panther too. Cut (or Copy) and paste the messages into the mailbox/folder of your choice.
