Couple of things guys at Apple could not help me with, bit of a grabag, but appreciate what help I can get:

1) I've gotten some kernel panics, but notice in Panther there is not a kernel panic log anymore, anyone else notice this?

2) I brought up a pdf file into preview and the page number on the thumbnails do not match up at all to the large page on left. anyone experience same thing?

3) I was burning a CD and decided to stop the burn. But the burn window stayed frozen on the desktop. I had to force quit the computer. why?

4) I put in a Pioneer Superdrive, but then took it out and put back my original Sony internal cd drive (was getting too many kernel panics). System preferences show the Sony is back. But even though the Pioneer drive has been out of computer for few weeks, in i tunes preferences, and Toast, it still list the Pioneer (which is gone) but does not list my new Lacie DVD burner which is connected, and listed in system profiler.

5) lastly, just got i pod. Battery power very poor, does not last that long... hence, I'll have to keep it on charger a lot. When it's done it says, "charged" someone told me that it shuts off and no more power goes to the i pod then. Is this true or not?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
