Using Panther's new address book (don't know if this version is different from Jaguar's) But when setting up a new card I start to input the name and the app automatically tries to 'guess' the name i want to input and also insists that it be 'capitalized'.

There a few problems with this. For one, I am creating a NEW card. This has nothing to do with existing names of people I have in my address book. So why try to guess that? It gets even more annoying when the app starts to capitalize the rest of the name. What if you don't want it capitalized? The only way to 'trick' the program into not guessing the rest of the name is to hit 'Delete' so it doesn't fill in the rest of the name when you tab to the next field.

These are all steps that seem like extra steps. In the prefs there is no way to turn this off. To me this is worse than MS Word's guessing. At least in that program you can turn if off.

One more thing in relation is the new Mail app address tabs. You know how the address's in email now 'pop' with color tabs. I like the tabs, it is the not being able to easily hi-lite an address to copy. The 'popping' color tab things are too sensitive and it seems it would make sense to have an option in the tabs pull down menu to 'COPY' the address and/or have it create a new address card in the address book.

Just some small things that would make the app work better, i think.
