I have run into a strange thing lately. My CPU usage seemed to be much higher than I expected for what I had running. When I checked on it, it seemed to be mostly system time.

Originally, I thought it was related to my iDisk automatically synchronizing (slowly). But the problem remained after I deactivated that feature.

The problem seems to be resolved by relaunching the Finder. My CPU usage drops from 80%+ to around 20% after the Finder relaunched.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanx.

PS I'm running 10.3.1 on a dual G4/500 with 1GB.
