Since 10.3, I am asked for my keychain password every-time I login to my user. Sometimes I am not asked and have no choice but to force reboot to get my Mac to work.

I have look in the keychain to set not to ask for password but can't find Fire or iChat in their.

So what to do?

Have you run "Keychain First Aid" from the Window menu of Keychain Access?

Yes I have.

when I expand the window for the password being asked when I first login there is no option to always allow etc.

Just in case you have them set differently, for the Keychain to unlock at login, its password must be the same as your login password.

Have you repaired permissions? The keychain dialog would come up for me every time I would open safari in Jag and a repair would normally fix it for about a week or two (i guess until something triggered whatever it was to mess up my permissions.)
