yep, it's been happening to me a few times today...the screen dims and a window says you need to restart your computer in a few languages...

last time was when i was just copying a file

help?

no not that...i remember them from 10 days... this just shuts down....very pretty in fact...if it happenes again, hope not i will try to take a picture of it

It's a kernel panic. The message you saw ("You need to restart your computer...") is Apple's way of not scaring the user, which 10.1 and earlier did with the text on the screen.

The usual applies: disconnect peripherals, look at recently installed software, run fsck, etc.
