Is Bluetooth turned on?
Do you have any paired bluetooth devices?

I'd guess then, that your Mac hardware doesn't support waking via bluetooth. What computer do you have, and is the bluetooth built-in or an add-on?

OK. I'm stumped. There's a com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file in ~/Library/Preferences. Maybe you could delete that and try again.
I have a 12" 867MHz Powerbook with Apple's bluetooth keyboard and mouse. They both wake the computer up from sleep just fine. But you have to click the mouse to wake up, moving it doesn't do it, because the mouse itself is asleep until you click it.

You have to download and execute the Apple bluetooth firmware update to enable this function. It can be found at http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...bluetooth.html (Ed.: Sorry, me thinks this is wrong URL, anyway, it is the FIRMWARE UPDATE you need to get. It enables waking from sleep etc)
"About Apple Bluetooth
When you have a Bluetooth enabled Macintosh you can use Bluetooth technology to communicate wirelessly with devices such as mobile phones, printers, keyboards, PDAs and more.
A version of this update is also available for Mac OS X 10.2.8.
What’s New in this Version
Provides enhanced stability for Bluetooth connections. This release also improves performance with human interfaces devices (HID) including enhancements to wake from sleep."
In addition, the devices would maybe require to be marked as favorites in the bluetooth setup pane. It kind of works on my G4 iBook after updating. However, the machine randomly wakes up, maybe due to the fact that I have several other bluetooth devices active, paired to another machine close by.
