My iMac is now used as our family computer, and I'd like to be able to leave something downloading all night, but log it out after a certain time that i specify, either by X amount of time or stating a specific time (like the wake and shut down auto feature)

Is there away to do this? i have a screen saver program that logs users out, but the screen saver can only be configured to start after 3 hours, i need something longer for overnight downloads.

Any help would be great.

Moral: Don't ask obvious questions without looking around a little bit first when you're on a board full of frazzled college students during finals week.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
