I couldnt get my Powerbook G4 to wake up from sleep so I did a hard reboot. When the OS booted the the Finder took forever to boot. I got the spinning colorwheel of death. It finally booted up and I restarted a few times and it keeps on doing it. Is there anyway to fix this? Does the Finder have a preference file? Maybe the file was corrupted and needs to be deleted.
Yes, the Finder does have a preference file. It's in ~/Library/Preferences ("~" means your Home folder), and it's called com.apple.finder.plist.
