Hi Guys,

I'm somehow disappointed with Panther networking, and printing capabilities.

I upgraded to panther 2 months ago and just afterwards I found that the Lexmarks Optra 312 and 310 in my lab shared via USB stopped working. I thought that lexmark drivers may be faulty....

Today, I stopped by at my advisor home to perform back ups and clean Panther installs + Office, photoshop, printer drivers for Optra 312 and HP laserjet 2500l, etc in a Cube and a PM G4 (running OS 9), and an update in a TiPB (running Jag).

Quite some work....

I'm back at the lab finishing experiments before getting drank with my buddies...

However, I could not make both computers to see each other when networking (for file transfers) and I could not share printers via USB.

Worked on that for 2 hours unsuccessfully...

I'm tired...

Any ideas?

Never got into so many problems since 10.0.4

Not sure about what the problem is with that but I must say that Windows Printing is AWESOME in Panther. I was able to see all my company networked printers and print to them. I just tested one today and it just printed. Very cool
