Internet Sharing uestion

In Mac Os X.3.2 (Panther) I am connecting to a dsl provider but I want to share my connection with other computers so I activate the schare internet connection in System Preferences --> Sharing.
I hav only on port a hub , the dsl modem (ethernet on Westel dual) and another mac.
So the question.
How do I see what is the ip set for the internet connection ?
Once I see it can I change its default settings ?

The easiest way to find out your current IP address is IP Address Menu, which places it in your menu bar. As for changing the default settings, I doubt this can be done on your end, since most DSL providers give you a static IP address and leave it alone.

btw_I just learned that Panther 10.3.0 and 10.3.1 apparently have issues with ICS. (I believe it! I havent downloaded 10.3.2 yet, and I cant share my G5s connection with my G3!)

For the record, I haven't had a single problem with ICS (DSL connection shared via Airport).
None whatsoever, 10.3 --> 10.3.1 --> 10.3.2

I'll chime in as another without problems.
FPiMac (dialup) shared with B&W G3...yes, shared dialup is painfully slow! 
I noticed that if you let your system go to sleep you have to restart sharing...is that new to 10.3?

Because my suggestions didn't do any good, and I can't really help any more, seeing as I'm sharing DSL via Airport, and not dial-up via Ethernet, as he is...
