What font size do you have Text Smoothing set at?

I'm currently using a 15" Powerbook, and I have the font size set at "8" for Text Smoothing (inside Appearance in System Preferences) ......

I don't really see a difference between the various choices, and was wondering how do I choose a font size accurately?

That setting is for what text size font smoothing should not be used. If you've got it set at 8, then any text set at 8 points or smaller will not be smoothed. It's really a personal preference, as some people find smoothing makes text more difficult to read.
