(Disclaimer: I haven't been reading the boards for a few months, so I don't know if this has already been addressed. If so, a pointer to a thread would be appreciated!)

I'm using 10.2.3 on a 700MHz iBook.

Has anyone noticed that the files seem really "jerky," for lack of a better term? I've been changing things in a directory from the command line and then looking at it with ls, Finder, and the Open dialog of the Help viewer, and BOY... Files disappear, they move around, etc. It seems like some sort of cache might be to blame, as something will come up in the column (though it's not exclusively in column view) and then reorder itself. It appears to not be looking at what's on disk to start with, but something else. It will then realize that things have changed and put display (mostly) the correct files.

I hope this is clear enough. If anyone has seen this, maybe we can narrow it down enough to submit a bug report. If not, perhaps I have some file system issues. :-)
