acessing windows networks - help

	I'd say that 20% of the time, when i go into finder and choose network, I can actually see windows pc's on this network. What is up with this. Definately some horrible bug, even my normal network at home doesnt work half the time. Are there any 3rd party software apps to manually search for pc's on a network, or a patch or trick to fix this?
