Today I was peacefully browsing the web, downloading some updates and moving them to my external hd. Suddenly Finder starts to crash, over and over and over again. Non stopping. Just when menubar appears it disappears again, then... reappears... repeat as longs as you like.
Tried:
Logging out. Repairing permissions. To Use Cocktail to run cron scripts etc. Running fsck in single user mode. Updating (from 10.2.6) to 10.2.8 with Software update. Trashing com.apple.finder.plist.
Cant do:
restart from cd to run Disk First Aid, Discwarrior or Drive10.
Maybe can do:
copy minimal system from current install to external hd and run repairs from there.
Any suggestions before I start looking for way to copy OS X to the external disk?
Finder crash log ...if it helps any.
