How many disks can you stripe with os x disk util?

Can you stripe more than 2 drives together? I was thinking about stripping together 3 drives on a scsi ultra160 chain. thanks.

I thought it was 2 or 4 or 8, but you might be able to stripe 3 identical drives. WHy not try it?

Oh I will once I get the drives I bought off ebay I just wanted to know if anybody knew off the top of their head.

I have 3 identical IDE drives striped in Panther and it works fine...... it's not very safe though!

I've got a good backup in place for it... Can you give me any stats? Like is it your boot drive? What knid of drives are they and are they on an adapter card? And, of course, can you tell a difference in speed?
