I'll try the clone process again, but it seems odd. I can boot off the old computer in target mode, and I can boot off a cloned copy an external drive of the old computer's drive.

The OS is set so that it will not as for a password at login, so it goes straight to the desktop.

However, when I cloned drive to the new computer and boot from there I can't access the machine. It boots to a login screen with no name listed. For users it only has "Others..." and not the original user. What gives?

Weird. The second time around cloning it worked.

I guess this just shows you you should check each clone first before erasing the drive.
