KDE config tip needed for X11: stop KDE Apps going under the Apple System menu bar

Hi - I have managed to install KDE using apple X11. I love it. I however have a problem, with KDE Apps going under the Apple System menu bar and the Dock, I believe that you can specify the screen space that KDE occupies in one of the kde .* files in my home dir. I have done a search online, however I could not find how to do it.

It is just that I use X11 in rootless mode and my kde title bars keep going under my Apple System menu and the Dock. With obvious usability side effects.
