I did try a search on this but couldn't find anything elsewhere. I'm using Panther. The other night while halfway through a DVD, I suddenly got small green lines all over the screen in front of the movie. It was plugged into a TV at the time, but I've now tried on the screen with nothing plugged in and have the same problem. I don't get the same problem using VLC.

I've rebooted and at the same point in the DVD, it'd start again. I'm now having this problem with other DVD's too.

Anyone experience this problem and perhaps have a solution?

Setup:
PowerBook 867
512MB
OSX 10.3.2

Wild, I've "heard" of this before on past Panther Dev builds; however, not in the final release...

I haven't experienced that, but I've heard trashing these preference files may help:
ATI Monitor.plist, ATIMonitor.plist. and com.apple.DVDPlayer.plist, and then restart.

I've also been getting these green lines on my TiBook 667 Gigabit Ethernet. In addition, I get strange artifacts in Quartz Extreme, which makes the whole system look ugly. Started in 10.2.8 and hasn't stopped since.
