I got it running. Not much to play with until it lands and transmits some data.
"We've been Slashdotted" means that their server has been overloaded by hits from http://slashdot.org/ . Often when they post a news story so many of the Slashdot crowd go to the web site that it takes down the server.
slashdot.org is an interesting place.

Great idea. As data becomes available we can manipulate it with no restraints. Wow! Watching the landing last night was something else- felt like I did watching Neil Armstrong on that Sunday night.
