When I log out and put my Dual 1.25 to sleep for the night, sometimes
when I awake the system and login the dialup connection crawl in the menue bar just loops in "Connecting" phase. When I click on disconnect, the same behavior continues, continuous loop in "Disconnecting". I am able to log out and log back in but modem connect init is still in continuous loop. If I restart, or shut down, the system only gets to the blue screen and stalls. I have to do a manual shutdown. This seems to be random behavior. It seem to happen only after a prolonged sleep and never after a total restart. Sure would like to find a fix for this. I run a clean machine, repairing permissions and running DiskWarrior or TechToolPro4 on occaision. I running 10.3.1. I'm running 10.3.2 on my PowerBook with no problems though I don't use it with dial up. I'm thinking of uprgrading to 10.3.2 but my system fine except for this tiny bug. Anyone with ideas or suggestions? By the way, I seem to remember this glitch is a holdover from Jaguar. Could it be hardware as opposed to software related?
