Ken Case, the Pres of Omnigroup, gave a nice demo of Omniweb 5 today. It's looks like its full of new features. Case said that Omnigroup had developed "three levels of tabs".

I was informed that this public beta of version 5 will be downloadable on Feb 2 and will only be available to version 4 license holders.

Nope. The booth was crowded with people and it was difficult to get close to the computer for the demo.

Besides, as soon as he was finished with the demo, the group I was there with wanted to leave. So, they dragged me off kicking and screaming.

So, is it better than Safari in your opinion and from what you saw? How is rendering speed?

Yeah, I got to play w/ it yesterday and I was very impressed as to how well the new tab/thumbnail system worked. It was very fast and fluent. For now I will stick w/ Safari but Omni has a very slick browser on their hands.
