At the minute I'm based in the UK. In December of last year I filled in my details for the up-to-date programme that Apple was offering 10.2 buyers (if you purchased 10.2 after October 15th).

Unfortunately, I have not been sent my new version of 10.3 yet and I have emailed Apple three times (this is the only way to contact Apple in the UK with respect to the up-to-date programme is by email). I have had no response from Apple.

I wondered if other people out there who have been in a similar positon to qualify for Apple's up-to-date programme on Panther could let me know how long it took Apple to ship your update?

I'd be most intrested to hear from people out there who would have had to go through Apple UK based in Cork, Ireland but of course I'd be interested to hear about any Mac users experience concerning how long it take Apple to ship the update.

BTW, does any one know how the up-to-date process works? Could it be that there is an explanation to the long length of time it takes Apple to ship the up-to-date upgrade?

Thanks.

When I ordered Jaguar through the up-to-date program I waited for several weeks only to not receive any discs. I phoned Apple (sorry can't remember what number I rang) and finally got through to someone who could help me. They told me the discs had been sent but when i asked what address they had sent them to, it was different to the address I had filled in on the Up-To-Date order form (I kept a copy for reference). It wasn't completely different but it was different enough to cause a problem. I told them the correct address over the phone and I received the discs within about a week.

I'm based in N.Ireland so the procedure will be the same for you. Just get on the phone and get talking to an actual person, they'll sort it out.
