Griffin does it again....
Very cool idea, and greatly needed since the iSight cant be adjusted for brightness (yet?)
One thing that it doesn't seem to do is go on when the camera is recording, it seems to be on all the time, or in 'auto', adjusting to the rooms light level,
I'd rather not have the light in my face until i need it to be in my face.
unless i'm not getting that from the product description.
Still, a great idea.

ya, i agree, Griffin has some awesome products.
The colours the iSight is able to produce are usually over shadowed by just that....darkness (no pun intended)
this seems to be a great idea as long as the light that comes out isn't a direct friggen beam which would obviously make the person infront of it look terrible.

I love Griffin's products. It's too bad, however, that they have such difficulty getting their new stuff out any less than 4 months after they announce it.

Really? The light will be on constantly? Darn. I was hoping that there's a switch that you could turn it on or off anytime you want to.
Or
Whenever the isight is connected for video conferencing and the lights automatically turns on itself until the video conferencing is turned off and the light goes off, too.

It has that
the lights automatically turns on itself until the video conferencing is turned off and the light goes off, too.
It doesn't seem to do this

Sure it can. But it depends entirely on the application you are using at the time. iChat AV being one of the few applications which does not let you access the camera settings, including brightness. Most other video apps, including conferencing ones like iVisit etc, will let you access the iSights settings just as you can with any other camera.
This Griffin gadget is neat tho
