i recently installed some fonts on my computer but am yet to put them in my fonts folder because i do not want to put fonts that i do not like in my fonts folder. how do you view what your fonts look like in osX without opening them in an application like microsoft word or adobe illustrator?

if you are running 10.3.x just dbl-click the font file and the built-in "font book" app will launch and preview the font for you, and even give you the option to install it.

unfortunately i'm only running 10.2.8, any other suggestions?
