Okay, so I'm working on my brother's ibook because his account password went bad for some reason (stopped being recognized by osx). So I booted from the panther disc and chose reset password and restarted. However instead of resetting the password it deleted the account! So now there is no administrator account just a standard one I created before I tried the password reset. So how do I create an administrator user if there are seemingly no admistrator accounts to create one? Help!

Do you have a root account? Try Option+Down Arrow, Enter. If not single user mode may be able to create an account.

Thanks. Like an idiot I completely forgot about the root account. I went to password reset and set up the root account password, logged in as root and re created the user w/ a new password.
