Ok I've started having problems with 10.3 and click to select windows, buttons, ect. I click and nothing happens. Its like it doesn't even recognize what I'm doing and its not froze because for instance when I click to close a window and it doesnt do anything, I use the short cut keypress and it works fine. Any ideas?

1 - is the mouse plugged in?
2 - does the problem stick around if you log-in/log-out?
3 - does the problem persist if you reboot?

do you by any chance have an aftermarket keyboard?

I have a Logitech Duo keyboard and mouse and have noticed an annoying problem where holding shift, or command will make that key (or the mouse) "stick" down. This is particularly annoying in photoshop, where you might be trying to shift click to draw a line and all of a sudden it decides you were holding the mouse down and it draws a crazy line all over the place.

[waiting for logitech updates...]

No this is just using my new 15" powerbook and the trackpad built in and yeah it seems to persist upon logging in and out. It's like the OS isn't recognizing the areas I'm clicking on but like I said I can use the keyboard short cuts to switch applications and windows and close them that way.
