This must seem so gumby, but we just got an XServe at work, and are in the middle of installing Panther Server on it. But i cannot find the serial number anywhere in the packaging. Not on the CDs or on any label anywhere else.

Where is it?

It's on the sleeve for the OS install CD.

Ah yes, this is where everyone else told me it was.
However, unlike all the other places AU seems to get packed differently.

The serial was actually on a small CD sized slip of paper which my boss had picked up and so wasnt in the rest of the packaging.
