Any ideas when Panther will begin shipping with Ilife '04?

panther and ilife are 2 different packages. you get ilife free with a new mac, not with a copy of panther.

yes it does, but not the new versions....will be interesting to see if they update the panther disks for those 2 apps, iphoto more specifically as itunes is a free d/l still.

lol...very good point...i suppose i didnt catch that on the initial release....so it comes with all new purchases, and is not considered part of the OS...although 1 or 2 apps might be part of a standard OSX install...

great point. I am going to ask Apple tomorrow about this. Some people would be better off just buying a copy of Panther. I am sure is not in the boxes sitting around yet though, but wonder when....

Back when you could get iPhoto and the others seperately, they switched languages depending on what language you were operating the OS in. I am using English while my partner uses Japanese on the same PB in different users.
Will this still be still be true in iLife?

If anyone knows, I would appreciate confirmation before I go out and buy it.

Thanks.
